Susie Robson is a Senior UX Architect at CA Technologies. Her previous positions include Robson Consulting, a usability consultancy, and MathWorks where she was responsible for the usability of internal business systems and web applications. She has over 20 years experience in interface design and usability for both web-based and application-based software, and has established Usability departments at two different companies. Susie is treasurer and past secretary of the Boston UXPA chapter, contributor to UXPA Voice, and was co-organizer of both the Boston UXPA Chapter Conferences and World Usability Day Boston (2005-2008). She has an M.M. in Business Management from Cambridge College and has taken Information Design courses at Bentley College, as well as courses from New England School of Art and Design/Suffolk University. She is also Vice President of, and an artist with, the Hyde Park Art Association.

Candidate Interests

I’ve been a member of Boston UXPA since the beginning and have held several leadership positions during that time. I began as Secretary and for the past several years have served as Treasurer. I spearheaded the effort to become an official nonprofit organization (501c6) and also helped organize the annual conferences. I have also helped organize World Usability Day in Boston and even created one of the events: Evaluation Station where we offer one hour of a group evaluation of the web sites or applications for non-profit and for-profit organizations. I would like to continue to serve on the board as Treasurer.
